amichi co is a creative house grounded in obsession with global sound. through radio, intimate events and original music, amichi co exists to create and uplift music narratives that encourage collective catharsis and reflect the natural world.

amichi co was founded by first generation Nigerian-American singer-songwriter and artist, Chi Chi. she dives through her personal music collection with a researcher's curiosity to encourage listening experiences that reflect a deeper desire for identity. her curatorial studies are grounded in the conservation of diasporic sound culture and the observation of cultural anthropology as it relates to the tribal music traditions of indigenous Africa. her poetry and music reflect on spirituality, intimacy and west African pedagogy. through her radio show, amichi radio, she explores ambient, jazz and soul music from around the globe.
